Rest in Peace Jacko!

*credit to Yahoo News

I couldn't believe my ears when I listened to Hot FM saying that Jacko has already passed away. It was such a weird feeling to hear that news. Is it true? My hubby was shocked.. Bio betul. He was just 50 and for me normally he was still young! Huhu.. Then, I asked my hubby...
"Dia muslim kan?"
"I dunno"
"I thought dia Muslim..."
"Ntah!"
For the whole day, the radio played his songs... and my hubby said..
"Pelik plak dia dah takde.."
"Ye la.. rasa sedih plak. Kesian anak-anak dia.. macam mana ek nasib anak-anak dia."
We just pray for his whole family only the best.
Alfatihah...

ICTL in Langkawi

And here we are in Langkawi attending a course called ICTL (ICT Literacy) for Year 1-3. They taught us how to browse the internet to look for materials to be used in the classroom and also how to teach using those things given in the CD. I was quite bored actually since I had had the basic for all those things.. haha.. berlagak tak hengat.. But then, there are also some new information that are useful too. Such as how to make games using the Microsoft Excel, which I found it interesting and I had tried to create one activity. Fuhhh.. tak sangka I can create such thing.. The truth is sometimes you think you had known so many things.. but unfortunately you are not. So, jangan eksen and nak timing kat sini.. Hahah..

The shopping spree in Langkawi is also incredible.. eventhough the money has already shrinked, but then all of us managed to finish our last breath of money. Kuikuikui.. We shopped for chocolates (of course), caseroles, thongs etc. Wahhh... pisan mau bawak. I don't know how to carry them on the ferry later on.. Oh.. I'm blogging from Kondo Istana.. hahaha.. tak balik lagi.. Still burning the CD for the school. Haiyaa.. so tiring and boring. Luckily I brought my laptop together with me.. Kalau tak.. boleh pisan kebosanan..ahaahhaha..
The pictures in Langkawi will be updated soon. I didn't bring my cable this time.. so I couldn't download the pictures.. sayang betul.

Anyway I managed to snap this picture using my phone. This is our living room in Kondo Istana. This place is quite spacious with 3 bedrooms, 2 toilets, 1 kitchen and 1 living room. The rate for this room is RM 330 per night. There is also a swimming pool and a cafetaria, two seminar rooms which is quite condusive.

If you are planning to come here, you are welcome to do so. The low budget warungs can be found outside the Kondo Istana. Have a pleasant stay here..hahah.. macam aku ni duta Kondo Istana plak.. Psstt.. the food in Kondo Istana is not so good okay.. You better makan outside..
So, people.. I think I have to log off now. Need to do some other things.. hehe.. I'll be back home today.. tak sabar nak jumpa Encik Salman and the gang.. Really miss those little rascals.. and also Encik Hubby...ngeeee...

Pray for my safety... (^_^)v Amin...

Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to my dad, Tuan Haji Ibrahim bin Baba, my dad-in-law, Dato' Haji Abdul Hamid bin Abdul Rahman al-Jarumi and not forgetting my sons' dad, encik Hubby.

Si Penulis Kek yang tak reti English.. haha! They supposed to write it this way : Happy Father's Day. They missed the -'s. But then, what the heck... English is not important eh.. Kita mesti sentiasa utamakan bahasa ibunda kita...Hapuskan PPSMI... hapuskan segala yang ada kaitan dengan penjajah.. Hahaha..

Ok, kita back to business.. I called my dad late in the evening. It's hard to speak with dad nowadays because sometimes when he is weak, he refuses to take any call eventhough the phone is just a few metres away.

"Babah buat apa Mak?"
"Ada kat depan"
"Susah betul nak sembang ngan Babah.."
"Kejap, aku panggilkan...."
from the phone I could hear this..
"Yang.. oh Yang.. ada orang nak cakap ni..."
"Sapa?"
"Ada la orang nak cakap"

"Assalamualaikum"
"Walaikumsalam.."
We chit chat for a while and then...
"Baa... orang nak wish Babah 'Selamat Hari Bapa!' Hehehe"
"Oh.. hari ni Hari Bapa. Tima kasih le"
Then...bla bla bla....

Before he handed the phone to my mum, I could hear he said...
"Ada pulak hari bapa.. macam-macam sekarang ni"

Dad never cares...haha.. I think men are always like that huh.. I really miss my Babah every now and then. I remembered when I was young. I used to hate him A LOT! I used to call him Singa Lapar. He is one kind of guy that is so fierce and never care whether you are crying or buat muka sedey meraih simpati when he is angry.(I guess I am potraying himself when he was young...hahaha). I couldn't go out with my friends like everyone else. I couldn't buy anything that I want.. and the worst part.. I couldn't celebrate my birthday...
"Itu budaya kafir!"he said.

My dad always force me to go to Sekolah Petang.. last time we called it Sekolah Agama Petang.. which is so bored because the place is not in my school.. it is somewhere in kampung area.. and the students are all the naughty ones.. I kept on wondering that time why this children were so naughty and even the ustazahs had difficulties to control them. They bullied me so many times since I am the only girl from the town school.. (sekolah elit la kata..). Hahahhaa..

My dad also love to screen all my phone calls.. Suara lelaki.. bole blah.. hahaha.. Even my letters received the same faith like my phone calls... Scanning all the time..kuikuikui.. When I was studying in Seremban, my dad will sent me and fetch on time.. I wanted to take the bus.. He simply said this..
"Jangan mengada-ngada.. nanti ko tersengih-sengih kat jantan mana, dok berkenalan pulak, Babah tak berkenan!"
Polaaaakkk...
Then, one day he bought me a Kancil and a handphone.. at that time.. having those things are quite luxurious I might say (those things also had invited some jealousy among my siblings...hahahah).. I was a bit bangga tahap gaban.. But then, I still couldn't enjoy myself.. Every night he will call to check where I am.. (and of course I am so scared to death to lie to him). On Friday, he will ask me to go home (bukan jauh mana pun). He never let me to have my weekends in Seremban. Then, starting from 12.30 pm he will ask my mum to call me for every 30 minutes to ask for my current position...hahaha..
"Ada kat mana sekarang?"
"Apsal lambat sangat nak sampai rumah... ko singgah mana.. cepat Babah bising"
I really couldn't bersantai where ever I wanted with that car..kuikuikui...
That is why I hate my dad..

But now, as I am getting older younger, I realized that all the things that he forced me to do or not to do had taught me to become a decent (chewah) lady. Ekekekeke (leh muntah ijo sapo baco). I knew that without his guidance and his protection (walaupun kengkadang a bit over) to me, I won't become who I am today. And I think if I listened more to him... I can now become a doctor I supposed.. hahaha (mari gelak guling-guling).. because in my younger years.. I was so lazy to read books and did my own revision.... (pocah tombolang ekau!).

Without him forcing me to study...
I would become useless in the society
Without him forcing me not to go out with friends
I may end up with the wrong kind of friends...mana nak pi tau kot2 jadi bohsia plak...wakkakaa
Without him forcing me to come back early...
I may end up being the kupu-kupu malam...ekekeke
Without him forcing me to go to Sekolah Petang..alhamdullilah..
I may not even be able to read the Holy Quran and I may not even know how to pray... Astaghfirullah...
Without him forcing me not to get on the bus..
I may end up marrying a Shah Rukh Khan lookalike a.k.a Mat Bangla... hahaha..
Without him protecting me all the time..
I may become... I don't know... I may not be here and share all the good memories to you eh..

So, Babah.. thank you for everything.. Thank you for all the love, kindness and hope that you have given not only to me, but to all my sisters and brothers.. thank you for all your support and your motivation.. I really-really love you eventhough I couldn't say it aloud. I still really-really need you in every step and decision that I make.. I love you Babah.. and thank you for bringing me to this wonderful world. Thank you for blessing me!

Ida sayang Babah! T_T

Other than teaching...

Alo cikgu.. you think you can sing aah?

What do you think a teacher can do apart from teaching? Hmmm... so many sehh.. If you come to this place today, you can see that teachers are very good in almost everything... Acting, singing and playing the musical instrument.. I think its time for the tv station to create another reality show entitled :- So cikgu.. you think you can sing/dance/act? kah kah kah..

Not bad eh... but they sang better during the rehearsal yesterday... hari ni darah Gemuruh kot..haha.. and why do I capitalized the G at the word Gemuruh eh? Owh.. it's the Pejal Tahir song la you alls.. Melampau tak aku? Wakakaka...

Calo betah!

Koir oh koir

And here for the first time, myself along with the barisan Pengetua, Guru Besar, Guru Cemerlang and Guru Muzik have to participate in the choir for the Sambutan Hari Guru peringkat daerah Kubang Pasu. We need to sing.. of course Negaraku, Guru Malaysia and also the theme song for this year.. which is so sedap.. We practiced for a day only..hahaha.. and today is the real day lah.. So.. I don't have the picture of me singing on the stage since I know nobody that I knew to hold my camera.. huhuhu.. sedey..

We got the 4th place!

This is our first year taking part in the Action Song competition. The students did well on this day and they thought they will get at least the 3rd place. Unfortunately, the luck is not on our side that day. We felt a bit frustrated because it seemed like the judges had miss the important part of the competition.. it is about the rules.. whereby the Action Song participants should be only for the Level 1 students that are the students from Year 1, 2 and 3 only. The 2nd runner up winner has the Year 4 students..which is so obvious.. if you look at the size of their body. I felt like I wanted to complain against it but then that particular school is also my friend..which she will know that it would be me the one who complains about it.. so I'm afraid that I might lost a friend over this competition. Anyhow, she knew how we felt and she sent me SMS that evening..

"Ramai x puas ati dgn keputusan tajddin (SK Sultan Ahmad Tajudin) menang aku rasa hangpa punya syok dri persembhn depa tp besa la... judge x reti nilai..hehe"

I was thinking of typing this...and reply it to her...
"Lebih tak adil kalau sekolah tu hantaq budak Year 4 instead of Level 1 students.. they should follow the rules rite! Anak u Yr 4, how come she can masuk?"

but then I just sent this text to avoid any confrontation..ngeee..
"Km pun frust x giler. Mkn x lalu. Dpa malu kalau skola kluster kalah dengan pdg perahu yang kampung tu."

Then, she replied..
"Sek tu tak salah tp judges yang bangang..patut kita (my school and hers) menang"

I chose not to reply to her back.. haha!

And I thought... what the heck.. it's only a competition eventhough the students were so down because they we hoping they could win.. even my headmistress thought about the same thing..

Puan GB: Tahniah, tahniah... cantik depa buat.. saya nak book depa ni untuk persembahan Hari Anugerah nanti..
Anis: Syah, I rasa kita ni at least ada number.. so nice Syah
Nurul: Aku tak sangka budak kita wat elok... terer hang Syah... aku teruja tengok depa menari masa wat formasi pulau.. santek bangattt.. kita bleh menang..
Kak Nah: Cantik betul stokin depa dari jauh.. nampak sama je tarian.. tak sangka hari ni depa buat elok..

But then, we have to agree to Qada' and Qadar rite.. Maybe this is the best way to get number 4 so that the teachers in SKPP including me won't feel boasted...haha.. and I am so regret that I did not do the Solat Hajat that very night..

Getting ready to get off from the stage..

Akmal and I taking the certificates... we got 4th place from 8 participating schools. Not too bad eh.. but getting the top 3 is even nicer.. hmmm....

Cerita ceriti cuti sekolah...

Anak-anak Sidek couldn't wait to go back to Melaka

As usual during the school holiday, we went back to my hometown. This time we had done so many activities together. Too bad that some of us were not with us due to their workload and so on. However, we still managed to survive without them...hehehe.

On the first day of arriving, we just sit lazily at home, watching tv and so on. The next day, Uda's family arrived. We planned to do something fun like going out together and we decided to go to Jonker Walk which had made Alang a bit jealous.

Posing kat signage Jonker Walk

Macam-macam ada.... duit je tatakkk...

We went back a bit early since the kids had already mengamuk... some even said that they were tired. The result... the parents were a bit sad because they could not shop like there's no tomorrow.

The lollypop cookies...

Oh, I almost forgot to tell you that we also made these cookies while we were in Melaka... Haha.. It was fun making the cookies together and a lot of time was spent to do it!
Since all the parents were not happy during our little shopping spree at the Jonker Walk, we decided to go to that place again..Ngeee...
So, the next agenda is to shop at Jonker Walk again.. This time Arrpek joined us and had a good time!
We did it during the second night at Melaka. We even took Wawan as a hostage to bring us around on his big MPV. Then, we strolled together by the Malacca river and watched the Pesta Sungai at Kampung Morten.

One of the house in Kampung Morten.

Next day, Alang's family arrived.

The Papa, the kids and I

We went to Bukit St Paul for sight-seeing. Three families and we felt like tourist from nowhere.. Serious.. macam tak pernah datang... Hahaha.. The last time I went up this hill was before I got married.. Lama giler...
We didn't know what to do that night..Hehe.. Then, my little brother decided to belanja us some bowling game at Mahkota. Waa... sudah lama tak main bowling and the results that we got were quite awful...Hehehehe... Kaki longkang pon ada dei...We booked two lorong with ten of us to battle...Sabo je lar..

Our final result during the first game. Can you see how many telur that we get that night... We planned to bake cakes using the eggs..Hoho..

Aksi daring tak hengat.. Macam nenek tua nak aim bola daaa...

It's the kids' turn to have their day of fun.
After several days the parents were out to have fun, we gave the kids a break too. We went to Jusco and brought them here.. They played for 20 minutes...waakkakaaka..

Mydin at MITC

Next stop was at the Mydin at MITC Melaka. The place is huge and has a lot of shops.. I really love this place.. especially with the blouses and shirts that are super cheap and also worth it. Hehehe.. Beli seluar belang yang somel untuk titon malam.. Besh.

I think that are some of the stories that I share with you. I slept twice while writing this post. Ngantuk bangat seh... wakakakkaka... Please excuse the errors with the grammar and spelling because I am so mengantuk rite now...haha.. Will update more later lah. In the meantime, I'm going out to fetch my baby Salman. Hehehe.. Chow bebeh!

Sekolah buka!

Sekolah dah mula..hoho.. honeymooning time is over! Today is the first day of school in certain states in Malaysia... However, my friends and I will not be in school. We will be in SKJ2 for the English Carnival-District Level. My students are going to take part in the action song. I dunno whether they can do well or maybe a disaster to all of us. Just wish for the best to the kids!... Haiyooo.. teacher cannot sleep lah.. too scared to face tomorrow's event!

Balik Kampung

I'm going back to my hometown tomorrow insyaAllah.

After spending a few days in school (as if it's not a school holiday), I suddenly discovered that I do love this school. Few years back when I was sent to this school, I felt like everyone was trying to sabotage me (which was right!). I was alone at that time and I prefer to go out often. Conducting courses and so on. I made myself unavailable in school by accepting all sorts of courses. But then, I dunno why, all of the sudden, the environment around the school had changed. I feel like the people starting to accept me (or maybe they had found someone else to be their scapegoat). Maybe because my ignorance towards their negative behaviors to me and maybe sometimes I did some counter attack to those who tried to cantas me. Don't you dare ok!
Encik Nasir once told me that.. these kind of people are everywhere... if you choose to go to other school (yep, I planned too!) there are also similar problems to this. What you have to do is.. just do your job and ignore these people.. they'll get tired and they'll leave you alone. Be sincere in what you do and God will help you.
I remembered when I got some trouble in school (these people tend to blame me for this and that and even threw some sand inside my periuk nasi). I would woke up late at night and did some solat hajat and prayed to God that these people will change and give some petunjuk to them. I even cried softly in my heart when they accused me for something that I did not do.. for instance, leaving the students in the library unattended...which I did not dare to do. In the end, the reporter who accused me doing those things was the one who did that thing.. So pathetic eh.
But then again, I never boycott that person... for me is easy --- Make your friends close, make your enemies even closer! (ayat macho tak hengaaattt!) Hoh!

My fish pond with pink colour...my favourite colour.. hahaha.. my sister told me it looks awkward with that colour because she prefers blue instead... but then I think it is adorable..Hehehehhe..

P/S: To those teachers who celebrate their birthday in May, Happy Belated Birthday people, may you have a wonderful life ahead!
-Bonda, Sis Nah, Encik Nasir, Razak, Tn Aji Sobri...happy belated birthday!

Difficult or Easy?

My school had the chance to enter the Action Song for the District Level. I am one the teacher along with Nurul and Anis who are responsible to train the children. We decided to choose the Year 3 students because they can read English words very well and brave too. For the first two weeks, we faced difficulties to make them memorize the lyrics and also the dance steps. I felt like my head was crushing through a metal door while thinking about the steps for dancing. It's not an easy job. The competition will be held on the 14th June 2009. It is on Sunday, the first day the school reopen. Crazy eh. So, this school break, I couldn't go anywhere but to train the students. Luckily Anis and Nurul are together. We arrange our holiday schedule to train the students. I chose the first week with Anis and Nurul will train them next Tuesday. I guess I can't have a long break this time due to the killing date!

So, students.. tomorrow is our last day training for the 1st week. I hope that you will come on the next Tuesday. Please remember your steps. We are competing against the elit school eh.. So, please don't drop my waterface on the floor lah!

.: Kalau benda tu kita kata senang, so senang lah dia.. :.

It's HOT!

I dunno why. The weather is getting hotter and hotter day by day. I remembered one thing when I watched a Nicholas Cage movie entitled Knowing. Before the Doomsday, the weather was totally hot and everything was on fire.. Quite scarry huh. Sometimes I was wondering, when is Day, am I gonna make it? Huhu... No one knows... But then I remembered my ustazah once told me... Jarak antara hari kiamat hanyalah antara dua jari (some sort like that lah).. Eerie...
All the signs before the kiamat has already shown. Everyone will face the Day.. no one can runaway from it. Janji Allah itu benar!

God Bless Us!
