Papier-mâché!

Last Tuesday during the art class we did this.

Papier-mâché!

We just need some old newspapers (actually a lot!), a plastic bowl and starch. U have to cook the starch first and let it cool down. Kalau berani mati, buleh la guna panas-panas tu.. Kakakka..
Then, by using the plastic bowl as the base, we just tear the newspapers and paste them on the bowl. Paste the newspaper layer by layer. Make sure your papier-mache is thick enough! Wait till it dry. (Benda ni buat la a week before -- impossible to get it done in one hour lesson!)

This week, hanya nak colour the bowl. So most of the bowls dah kuar dari mold dia, easier for kids to do the next task. Ada la sowang dua tak kuar lagi. So, bila tak kuar, kena la korek2.. rupanya dia pakai gam lain.. Ciss.. tak ikut arahan.. Sabo je mak!

Ini hasil yang tidak kemas langsung. Sepatutnya bila kita dah lekatkan kertas, kita kena kasi urut rapat-rapat, tamo ada ruang-ruang untuk gelembung udara. Ada paham? Good!

Hat ni boleh la gagah, walaupun bahagian bawah tak baper nak somel. It's time to decorate the bowl. By using the Buncho Poster Colour, you can always decorate the bowl with your own style!

Happy trying kids!
