Marking papers

My school had just finished the July Monthly Test. So, this week is the week for the teachers to mark all the test papers. Wah... manyaknye nak kena tanda. And as usual, I really hate to mark the Paper 2. This is because I have to read line by line to look for errors. Huhu.. Sabo je lar.. The dateline is next week.... Waaaaa....mati dei..

My pelantar -- still under construction

The planning of using woods for pelantar would be just a dream. This is because the cost for all the materials are very-very expensive. The cost for the woods only is around RM600 excluding the upah. Waduh.. mau pisan. So, we decided to stay with our original plan, that is to put the tiles only. Hehe. Later on, I'll put on the tikar mengkuang to make it looks like kampung style. Hehehe.. I was thinking to put the pareo on top of the pelantar just to cover the pipelines.. Huhu.. Musti santek kan.. Wah.. esok leh pi Tesco beli pareo satu.

And as usual, the tukang tile is missing in action again. Huh.. sekeh baru tau.

Our Hibernating Place

This is our hibernating place. We sit, chit-chatting, gossiping exchanging information and most of the time we do our work here....hehe.. Nurul and I had just renovated the arrangement of the furnitures in the library. Even our room, we redecorating everything. We took out the big and bulky table out of our room and put it in the reading area, and we took the teachers' table from the staffroom and put them in our room... very own room. Well equipped with PC and aircond. Hehe.. Jangan jeles you alls. Coming up.. pantry corner la polakk... Nurul and I were planning to bring the water dispenser, coffee, tea, sugar etc. and place it nicely there. Sapo2 nak skit, bisa aja dong.. Tapi jangan lupa kemas lepas guna ye..

The main entrance. We put two handmade Japanese tables. Last time the two tables were joined together, but now we splitted them into two, just to get some fresh look. Heheh.


The library. The yellow tables were our tables before. We put them back here just to make sure that everyone will get their own seat.

Sepetang Bersama Cucur Ikan Bilis dan Pulut Udang

During tea time, especially when I am over rajin, I will prepare some cucur a.k.a cekodok (the Kedahan called all the kuihs as cucoq) for my family. This evening, I prepared the cucur ikan bilis. My hubby brought home some pulut udang from his office. At 6.30, we sat down and ate all the cucoq together-geder.. hehe.. sodapnyer... sehingga menjilat pinggan.. Yummy..

Oh ye, ni polak Adam's eyes. Can you see the dark blue circle around his right eye? He got it from his stuntman action in Mee Chong textile shop. He was playing hide and seek and voila.. sudah dapat benjol sbb jatuh. Fell down on the floor, he didn't cry at all maybe because he's afraid that I was going to marah him. The lebam is 3 days old and recovering. Macam-macam la anak aku nih. Asik accident aje.

Apa pun Kak Su and her family came just to see my pelantar's progress. In the meantime, her husband suggested us that we use the wood to make the pelantar instead of the tiles... so dia pon merangka le.. and siap buat fountainnye sketches.. aisey.. tak dan nak amik gambo.. sbb dia dah bawak balik nak carik quotation rege... Kalau jadi memang santekkk..

Birthday Celebration

Last night was one of niece's birthday. She turned 8 ( I think...hehe). The food was good ( I couldn't comment on the food because I only ate the satay and 3 bites of cakes..huhu). Tapi satay memang superb. Hehe.. My mom-in-law also celebrated her 65th birthday. I haven't buy anything for her. Tak dan beli la...sorry mama. I was thinking of buying her either a new scarf or a set of brooch. My sis-in-law bought a Sembonia sandals... waduh.. glamer bangat. Nak beli handbag.. aku rasa mak mentua aku ni banyak dah handbag dia...kuikui.. so.. tengah berpikio-pikio nih

Today is holiday (for my school only due to Hari Anugerah Cemerlang yesterday). I decided to go out and buy the things for my pelantar.. hehe. The demolition man was supposed to come to my house yesterday to continue his unfinished business, tapi he was not around. Keje tempat len la kot. So, we gonna wait for him today or tomorrow or the day after... woit..woittt.. aku tolak gaji kamu baru tau! Apa da... tengah semangat kesukanan nih.. Sat g aku bikin sendiri.. terus korang tokleh carik makan.. wakakakakakaka...

Three bags of this thing is enough for my new pelantar.. Each bag cost RM 15.00 Naik rege dah.. mencik tul..


The tile that my hubby and I chose together-geder.. RM 1.90 per piece. We just need 100 pieces.


Susun kat luar rumah aje..Hopefully takde orang curikkk..Hehe..

Hepi Makan Jagung

Ni polak sesi makan jagung ari tu. Couldn't upload the pictures earlier sbb ada problemo ngan blog nih. Sekeh skali haa.. U can see how happy Salman is when it comes to eating time. Suma dia sumbat.. janji leh masuk pewot.. Sabo je lar anak teruna sowang nih..

The Hari Anugerah Cemerlang of SK Padang Perahu

The Hari Anugerah Cemerlang is today. The atmosphere this time was really different since we had many new things in our school such as the school band, choir group, Arabic MC and many more lah...(including myself singing in front of the VIP during sesi santapan.. ahaks). The Guest of Honour (The Deputy Director of JPN Kedah) arrived a little bit late (but not too late lah..). After his arrival, he was brought to the hall and checked the TKRS punya perbarisan... Then, listened to the welcoming song by the school band. After that, the guests entered the hall and they sing the Negaraku song sambil diiringi dengan muzik dari pancaragam. Dasat..(kataku penuh kekampungan..muehehehe)
Pehtu acara bermula, then terus pi ke kafetaria and majlis santapan pun bermula lah.. dan aku pun nyanyilah... huhu

I renovated the courtyard kolam area. Just to keep away the bad cats from pee-ing and berak-ing around.

My small fountain dipindahkan keluar. Everything must be empty before the demolition man comes. Hehe

Huhu... cian tempat kolamku. At first I was thinking of making a small pond in there, tapi memandangkan tahap kerajinan aku ni di tahap sengal ditambah polak dengan hobby si thundercats yang suka menjadikan kawasan ni jamban dewang, maka impianku terpaksa dipendam jua.. heheh.

Countdown to Hari Anugerah Cemerlang SKPP 2008

Last few days were very busy for us. On Sunday, I just got the script. They asked me to translate the script to English and trained a student to be the co-MC. Every year, during the Hari Anugerah Cemerlang, there would be 3 MCs with two different languages. However, this year they add one more language that is Arabic. Ustaz Ammar was in-charged to translate the script and trained the student. We only had 2 days to trained the pupils... huhu. Tapi we all ni cekap gloz.. Come what may also can handle lar.. (riak nih.. kembang idung aku.. kuikui).

We had three days to rehearse everything. The rehearsal started from 8 a.m till 10.45pm. The first day was a bit kelam kabut since suma dok fenin lalat lagi. The second okay sikit, only my MC had lost her script. Ada ke dia pi tinggalkan kat dewan aje script tu then terus balik umah. Memang sengal mek nih.. Aku seligi baru tau. The third day, was better than the previous days. Wah.. tapi aku dapat polak biter baru. Other than being the translator and also the AJK Hadiah, they asked me to sing during the makan-makan session. In front of the VIPs la.. maka on the third day itew, at 12.50pm, aku pon start le training nyanyi polak. And as usual, lagu2 zaman kesultanan melayu melaka punya lagu yang disuruhnya aku nyanyi to suit the situation la kunun. Terpaksa la den buat tune zaman dolu-dolu ponya.. huhu
"Malam bulan di-pagar bintang..." hehe

Baru dapat skrip, terus aje di translate. Cun tak bajuku ini.. hehe..

Geng pancagaram.. ehh.. pancaragam training..


Yang dok atas kosi tu MC dewasa la.. Hat ni dalam BM. Cuma hat BI ngan Arab je bagi budak baca..

Sambutan Hari Guru Peringkat Daerah

I was so curious... Teachers' Day Celebration at district level after a month? Jauh pulak tu. Kat UUM, Sintok. Malangnya tak ramai yang hadir, maybe because of the distance. What a waste of time la dei. Anyway, congrats to Cikgu Mat Said, my school teacher for the Innovative Award that he received that day. Semoga terus maju ye Cikgu Mat. Apa pung.. korang layan je la gambar-gambar ini. Tak larat aku nak citer dah. Hehe..

Bukan aku tak bersyukur.. cuma tak berbaloi la kehadiran kami kat sini. Dipaksa hadir dan makan tengahari pon takde. Apa kes...

Rajinnya Majlis Bandaraya Alor Star nih..

Tahniah pada Majlis Bandaraya Alor Star yang telah mensantekkan area Hutan Kampung. Sebabnya kalau hujan ribut kawasan ni selalunya bahaya. Sampai terbang2 kayu-kayan yang kering. Memula aku ingatkan ada roadblock.. Ketaq den.. maklumle..aku ni kan ke phobia ngan cik abang polis.. wakakakkak... rupanya dwang potong dahan-dahan yang terlebih.
Apa pun.. thank you abe MBAS... Semoga terus sukses dan sukses.. hehe

Kolamku.. santek polak dalam versi sephia

Aku bercadang nak tutup aje kolam ni. Nak jadikan pelantar. Lagipun, kucing suka sangat dok masuk dalam area kolam ni and melepaskan hajat dia kat situ. Tak ke sengal namanya. So, dengan sedihnya hari ini, aku telah meng'clear'kan kawasan kolam ni untuk renovation. Rasanya nak wat pelantar terus, so kekanak riang ada lah area untuk bermain kat luar rumah ni tanpa perlu mengotorkan kaki. Nak-nak si pepy Salman, suka sangat berkaki ayam kalau kuar rumah. Mentang-mentang dah terer jalan.

Ni kolam bikin sendiri. Beli barang pon loose-loose..

Eh.. apsal gambo ni leh masuk. Hehe.. ni masa tengah giler babas study ari tuh.. Pecah pala jawab soalan.. kuikui..

Ni polak gambar si Salman eksiden ngan basikal abang dia. Pada hari yang gelap itu, dia bermain di luar dengan menaiki kereta kecitnya, then, abang dia datang dan terus melanggar kereta dia yang somel. Maka, Salman pun tergolek dan muka dia terlekat kat rantai beskal kat belah belakang tuh.. Cian anak aku nih.. Time ni aku takde polak, aku pi exam. Sabo je lar.. cian pepyku yang somel dan idung kembang nih.. huhu. Yang pasti, si Adam kena marah ngan Papa polak sebab buat lap ala-ala KL Drift kat adik dia.. Tu dia.. penangan citer Melayu.. Huhu..
