Journey home

At first we wanted to go back early in the morning... tapi biasala kan.. nak balik umah mmg liat.. so we started our journey at 2 pm sharp. That morning we went to Tesco first. Melayan my hubby yang syok sangat nak pi Tesco Melaka. He said that Tesco Melaka is bigger than Tesco Sungai Petani. Ntahle.. aku pun tak baper minat Tesco nih.. I prefer Jusco than Tesco. A lot of new things.. Kedah takde Jusco...huhu... These are the pictures taken before we went back to our home in Kedah.. Jauh tuuuuuuuuuuuuuu.....We arrived safely at 11.15pm. Alhamdulillah.

Sempat lagi bergambar kat dalam Tesco. Adam mencuba topi Santa Clause. Sebok nak try pakai. Kita layan je larrr...

Sempat lagi stop kat tepi Jusco, bangunan Majlis Perbandaran Melaka Bandaraya Bersejarah. Ada lanskap cun, leh amik gambo lagi... then there's one area where we can mandi-manda you know..


Kat depan building Majlis Perbandaran... kalau kat Amsterdam mesti bunga ni besar pinggan... hehhehe.. nama bunga ni dalam BI-Marigold ye... dalam BM - bunga taik ayam...hehe

More activities during Aidiladha

This year around, my family had listed out so many activities to be done during the Raya Haji. We had conference (using the YM) and also emailing each other about what we wanna during Raya Haji. So, these are things that we decided to do and alhamdulillah we had the time to complete all the activities eventhough some of the men were a little bit stressed out to see their wives were so damn busy in the kitchen doing these project... hehe..Err.. ada lagi ke projek yang tak dilist kat sini.. nanti korang habaq nooo...


Projek Jahitan - diketuai oleh Alangbuana... anak murid dia Angah je sbb yang lain tak bawak peralatan.


Projek Menonton Bola - diketuai oleh Jumari dan diikuti oleh anak2 sidek.


Projek Kek Nutella - ni la cara melipatnye u alls..


Projek Agar-Agar Cocktail - diketuai oleh Alangbuana.. diikuti oleh takde sapa.. sbb suma nak makan aje.. wakakkakkakaka


Proses menyiat kulit dan daging2 untuk diagih-agihkan kepada pihak berwajib. Hehe


Lawatan ke tempat penyembelihan korban.. hehe.. diketuai oleh Angah sambil diiringi oleh Alangbuana.


Projek buat Wajik (in Kedah we called it Pulut Kacau) ntah apa yang kacau.. hehe


This is the Netbread Project (projek roti jala..heheheh) Time kat dapur tak sempat nak bergaya plak.. suma muka dah macam maid Indonesia.. Aku rasa maid Indon lawa lagik.. wakakakkaka


This is projek buat Roti Anjing Panas Hot Dog Bread. (Mana2 gambo musti ada gambo depa nih.. gambo aku gak takde huhu)


Haa... this is the biggest project la for this year. The Nutella Cake bakery class conducted by Alangbuana (lady in green kelawar)


This is the second biggest project -- BBQ at Kechat's house.

Activities during Aidiladha

This year we decided to celebrate Aidiladha in Kedah on the first day and head back to Melaka on the second day of Aidiladha. This is actually the sixth time I celebrated Aidiladha in Kedah since every Aidilfitri we will go back to Melaka.. hehe. The tradition of celebrating Aidiladha in Kedah is quite different from Melaka. In Melaka, after the solat sunat Aidiladha, there will be a korban and after that, we will distribute the meat to all the people at that area. But here in Kedah, there are not only the korban session but also the visiting relatives session (just like we always do during Aidilfitri) That's quite unique for me. Hehehe... Surprisingly, there are also kuih raya and gathering (kenduri) to welcome the guests. Just like my mother in law's house. Early in the morning, we will prepare the rendang, ketupat pulut and kuih raya on the saprah (a cloth to put the food on it) and not forgetting the thick black coffee (my father in law's favourite drink). After the solat, the villagers and the relatives will come over to greet and chit chatting while having their meal. This is one of the way to strengthen the relationship between the villagers and the tuan rumah (host). These are some pictures taken during the Aidiladha.

After solat raya, we took pictures in front of my father-in-law's dragon fruit farm. Can you his farm back there? Can you see our new car too? Wakakakakakkaa

Letih melayan tetamu..

On our way back to Melaka the next day. We started our journey at 5 am in the morning. This is somewhere in Perak. Salman is eagerly to act as if he's the driver.

These were the chosen sheep to be the korban. Hehe.. Jaga ko..


Abang Teh Azlan is the man who was guilty of murdering the sheep... waakkakakakkakakakakaa... This is the evidence la.. Hehehe.. Jaga baikkkk!!!

Today is Aidiladha. I'm taking this opportunity to wish all my friends, family and Muslims all over the world Happy Aidiladha. May Allah bless us and our family, Ameen. Bila aku nak balik kampung nihhhhh..huwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!

It has been quite some time I didn't post any latest stories/info/journal...hehe.. well.. a few days ago, my sister called me and I asked her on how to make the NOW FOR KIDS drinks to become tasty. So,this is what she told me to do..

Now For Kids Rawksss!

1 scoop of Now For Kids
1 teaspoon of Sunquick Orange
4-5 small ice cubes
225 ml of cold water

How : Blend everything in a blender and serve chilled.


Then I tried some other portion to make the magical drinks. Hehe :p

1 tablespoon of rose syrup
4-5 small ice cubes
225 ml of cold water

How : Blend everything in a blender and serve chilled.

My hubby really love the Innergize Syrmonize (Syrup + Lemon..hehe).

He was asking where did I get the lemon to make the drink... I just said... Owhh.. Innergize la darling.. hehe. He said.. Hmm.. tasty la... sedap.
This is how you do it.. Good luck guys!

1/2 or 1 scoop of Innergize
1 tablespoon of Rose Syrup
4-5 small ice cubes
225ml of cold water

How : Blend everything in blender and serve chilled.

You guys should try this at home.. And the amount of the rose syrup is up to you actually. I would recommend the F&N Rose Syrup. (I didn't get any commission by revealing this brand..ok! I just love the F&N Syrup). If you want to throw a party, you should try and serve this drinks to your guests.. They'll love it for sure! You will have fun without getting tired easily.(It's a drink for energy remember?!)
